This is a cute little product, and the small book that comes with it has a surprisingly good amount of information for someone starting out with palm reading. It's also on quite good quality paper. The only thing that disappointed me about this palmistry hand is that the back of the hand has a very obtrusive, ugly, flat chunk on it, with felted pads glued on. That's not the end of the world by any means, especially since you read the palm, not the back of the hand, but for me I would prefer it to be the entire hand carved and displayed, so that it can be stood on the wrist (which it can be) and viewed nicely from all angles. I can see that it was made this way to lay flat on a desk, table, or altar, and the felt pads are a nice touch to protect any surface you may lay it on. But for me, I find the construction jarring and very much aesthetically unpleasant. You can't tell from the product description or picture that it is made this way, and I wish it had been shown on the site. However, as I say it's not the end of the world, and overall I am pleased with the product and feel it will be a nice tool to help me learn more about palm reading. It's definitely a sturdy, well made piece and is small enough to be easily carried in a purse or bag if you wish to take it along with you. And the price is certainly excellent. If anyone is looking for a tool to aid in palm reading, and to add a bit of atmosphere to your table or altar, I do recommend this.
