Spiral God (Lord) Statues
$31.95 - Full size
$14.95 - Mini size
These statues were designed by Abby Willowroot, the
original
creator of the Spiral Goddess Symbol in 1978!
White:
"He Who Creates from His Heart". This potent Deity opens the hearts of men to
the inner well-spring of their true emotions. Many men have been separated too
long from their feelings, and the powers of nurturance and healing they
possess. He who is about claiming all parts of yourself and being balanced,
positive, and dynamic. On the reverse, a flowing tree and moon provide a
private space for growth and meditation. This Stunning Statue is perfect for
your Altar. Made of white antique stone color resin. Available in Full
Size (approx. 8½") and Mini Size (approx. 3½").
Black:
The God of the underworld embodies life, poised at the moment of beginning.
Even in the dark of night we have the promise that a new day will dawn. And
also in the darkness the earth in the rich black soil, encased in a hard dark
seed coat, seeming lifeless, exists all the energy of new life. The fallow
period of our natural seasons assured the ancients that the cycles of our lives
also continue on.
The Underworld God was feared but not fearsome. When he found love and his
queen, together they offer us the crucial, hidden element of the spiral, the
time when the soul rests and prepares to be reborn, to return to the cycles of
life.
He is the intimate blackness of deep earth, the expansive darkness of the
infinite Universe, and the mysterious darkness of magick and possibility.
Made of black resin. Available in Full Size (approx. 8½").

Millennial Gaia: Earth Goddess Altar Statue
$74.95
Oberon Zell's greatest masterwork, the Millennial Gaia is the Goddess image for
the new Millennium! This "Sermon in Stone" is Oberon's expression of a growing
global Earth-based consciousness. More and more of "mainstream" culture is
becoming aware of the name and concept of "Gaia."
This exquisite figurine, The Millennial Gaia, brings our new evolving
consciousness of the Earth into a physical form. She is an invitation to each
and every human being to enter consciously into the myth and story of the
living Earth and to respond to Her as our Mother, as the larger being of which
we are all part. No matter what language you speak, no matter where on Earth
you come from, you can hold The Millennial Gaia in your hands and hear Her
message. This lovely figure of the living Earth has Her own voice. And if you
live with Her in your home, workplace, school, or place of worship, She will
speak to you, too.

Keys to the Images on Gaia's Body
Moving outward from Her womb, engraved tattoos on Gaia's legs display the
evolution on life in the seas, from the earliest bacteria and single-celled
protozoa, to sea mammals on her buttocks. A key to all the creatures and their
eras, is provided.
Similar engravings on her arms show the forests: Redwoods on Her right arm, and
the tropical Rain Forest on Her left. Her right breast is a cornucopia of
nourishing fruits and vegetables, while Her left breast-over Her heart-is the
Moon, whose phases beat the pulse of the ocean's tides and women's cycles. In
the back of Her hair, tiny creatures trace the evolution of vertebrate life on
the land, with braids representing the double helix of DNA forming the
umbilical branches of the Tree of Life. The chronological scale is logarithmic,
beginning at the base with the Devonian Age, when the first Amphibians crawled
out of the swamps onto dry land, and progressing upwards towards modern times.
Different geological eras are distinguished by differing background vegetation.
Comes with a diagram which provides a detailed key.
At the crown of Her head, the pinnacle of emergent consciousness ("Crown of
Creation") is represented by a Whale over her right hemisphere, and a Human
Child over Her left. The child holds a ball-a globe of the Earth.
Around Her face, clusters of leaves representing the fifteen sacred trees on
the Celtic Tree Calendar comprise Her hair. A key is provided. Also among her
hair are flowers: Rose, Poppy, Hibiscus, Daisy, and Morning Glory. Circling Her
shoulders, a Monarch Butterfly represents the Sun, and a Luna Moth the Moon.
Other Sacred Insects may be found among Her leafy locks: a Dragonfly, a Scarab,
and a Spider.
Measures approx. 7" tall and made of polyresin. This is an absolute
masterpiece!
