is applied to the tip. Wands are individually consecrated at month's end, and
are never exposed to sunlight during manufacture.
At consecration, the spirit for each wand presents its name to the Listener,
who then speaks it aloud for the first time.
This is the name you must invoke in order to welcome that spirit into service
of the wood. Fitchel & Sons wands come with a certificate displaying the
consecration date
as well as the name by which the wood shall be addressed during your period of
